Another session with Lauren at my Occasional Figure Drawing workgroup.

Lauren is the mover and shaker behind Tipsy Sketching in Canberra and a number of our new models in 2025 have come from Tipsy Sketching.

The ASOC Occasional Figure Drawing workgroup - to be known as "Open Studio: Figure" from term 1 2026 - offers participants the opportunity to sketch from very short (1 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute and 10 minute) poses, together with movement exercises involving the model being active during the pose, as well as a couple of longer poses (30 to 40 minutes).

Participation in the Open Studio: Figure group is open to any member of the Artists Society of Canberra.

We did many sketches during Lauren's latest session with us.

A touch of the Henris, as Fred Dagg may have said, with this sketch.
