The NGA organised a life drawing event on Friday evening with the 7 rooms of the Cézanne to Giacometti: highlights from Museum Berggruen exhibition as a backdrop.
There was a different activity in each room and participants had a chance to do four activities.
My favourite event was in the Picasso room, where there was one model and we drew him from four different angles. I think we had about 3 minutes for each angle.
Here are four pencil drawings done on one sheet of A1 cartridge paper.

I also enjoyed our go at doing a Matisse style cut out. Here's the two models holding fabric, coloured paper collaged onto A3 sized cartridge paper.

This 15 minute sketch was done in the Cezanne room. The Gallery attendant asked us to use different coloured pencils to take an expressive approach to depicting receding and advancing parts of the model. Coloured Pencil on a sheet of A3 sized cartridge paper.

In the Bauhaus room they gave us a red, blue and yellow pencil and asked us to use them to depict tone. We did a one minute, two 2 minute and one 10 minute sketches. Here are some of them, all pencil on A3 sized cartridge paper.
