Smart Casual - portrait of Rob Snarski

Created after a sitting at The Grounds of Alexandria, Smart Casual (Rob Snarski) portrays the Australian singer-songwriter in the clothing he chose for the occasion: a performer’s floral shirt paired with bright green thongs.

Constructed from acrylic paint, painted sheet music and book and magazine paper, the collage balances public persona and everyday presence, placing the musician within the lush, carefully staged environment of the café garden.
