A new model, Sarah, for this week's ASOC portrait and figure workgroup. Sarah is a ceramics student at the ANU school of art.
The last pose today reminded the oldies in the group (well, that's most of us) of this iconic photo from Britain's scandalous political history.
This is a sketch in charcoal from a 40 minute pose (on good quality cartridge paper 50 by 70 cm)
Another two sketches from the 40 minute poses, all on good quality 230 gsm cartridge paper, 50 cm by 70 cm. The first is charcoal and conte crayon and the second is charcoal and watercolour pencil.
And here is one of the quick sketches from earlier in the day, charcoal on butchers paper 43 cm by 62 cm.
