Week 6 of the current term of the ASOC Portrait & Life Drawing workgroup and Holly returns as our model. Holly sported a fine pair of cowboy boots today, which feature in the long poses.

First up my favourite from today - I am using a larger piece of cartridge paper here (59.5 cm by 84 cm, charcoal, pencil, watercolour pencil and chalk, approx 35 minutes).

"Holly" charcoal, pencil, watercolour pencil and chalk on cartridge paper, 59.5 cm by 84 cm.

Two more from the longer sessions both on cartridge paper, using charcoal, pencil, watercolour pencil and chalk. The figure seated on the floor is drawn on cartridge paper 41.5 cm by 59 cm, the second drawing is on cartridge paper 59.5 cm by 84 cm. Both were done in about 35 minutes.

Lastly a few of the quick sketches from the five minute sessions at the start of the day - all charcoal on newsprint, 51 cm by 73 cm.
