It's great when we have an experienced model like Sarah. She is a visual arts student and adept at holding serene poses for extended periods - forty minutes in today's case.
Starting backwards with the three 40 minute poses. I added more background colour to these photos when I returned home. They are are all gouache on paper, the first shown here is on blue coloured paper, 43cm by 61cm
The other two 40 minute poses are gouache on oil sketch paper 61cm by 45cm.
The quick charcoal sketches are in two lots - three two-minute sketches on butchers paper 61cm by 80.5cm ...
