On the surfaces

Last week of term 3 of workgroup and Natasha returned to fill in for a late cancellation.

This was another chance to experiment with painting on different surfaces. First off acrylic on oil sketch paper coloured with yellow gesso. Acrylic on coloured oil sketch paper, 61 cm by 43 cm.

This one is acrylic on wallpaper coated with Modpodge matte, 77 cm by 43 cm.

And lastly, Natasha is floating over the surface of an old geological map (coated with Modpodge Matte, 59 cm by 41.5 cm).

I liked these two sketches from the 5 minute sessions. Both charcoal on cartridge paper, 59 cm by 41.5 cm.
