Someone asked about my models for the Jim and Mandalay paintings.

Jim was found at the Jamison trash and treasure a year or so ago. He is a Jim Beam whiskey decanter from the late 1970s. Mandalay is a Burmese marionette that I purchased in a market in Malaysia when I lived there at the start of the 1990s. He is looking worse for wear. But so aren't we all.
