Alex sat for my ASOC Portrait and Life Workgroup and for the second 40 minute session I had the urge to fill in many of the spaces with whatever collage elements I had to hand - some blue wallpaper in two different styles, some paper cpvered roughly in yellow paint, and a piece of yellow paper I had coated with sewing pattern some years ago.

Here's the work in progress.

The first panel below shows the result from the forty minute sketch at the workgroup. The next two panels show more work at home. I added grey patterened paper for the jacket and filled in various areas - including offsetting orange paper to designate the chair Alex was sitting in.

I'll do more work to complete this one.
