Fatima

Here's a couple of paintings of Fatima from this week's art workgroup.

I have been experimenting with various surfaces. These two paintings are acrylic paint on wallpaper. The wallpaper was coated with Mod Podge matt before applying the acrylic paint.

This detail from "Fatima seated I" gives a good indication of the effect obtained by allowing some of the wall paper surface showing through.
