It's great to have unexpected challenges when you are doing art classes.
Here is one from a couple of years ago at the ASOC Summer Art Experience.
In this exercise each student was given a different photograph of various models to draw for one minute, then time was up and you had to pass your photo to the next student along for the next one minute sketch.
However, there was a sneaky ring-in that flew into the proceedings.
In a nice piece of serendipity the pelican found a neat spot among my two previous drawings on that sheet of butchers paper. I was also pretty happy with the essential pelican-ness that I captured in the alloted minute.
